Le créatif Harvezt a fait la série « The Dark Side of The Covers » dans laquelle il imagine l’envers du décor de certaines pochettes d’album assez cultes. On voit donc les fesses du bébé dans la piscine sur la pochette de Nirvana ou encore l’agent de circulation qui permet au Beatles de marcher sur le passage piétons.
Comme Etienne Lavie, Halley Docherty confronte brillamment la ville et l’art. Dans cette série, elle intègre des couvertures d’albums cultes à leurs vrais lieux sur Google Street. Un mélange qui joue avec l’urbanisme, la musique et la culture numérique, à découvrir dans la suite de l’article.
L’illustrateur et designer anglais Charles Williams fait des couvertures pour différents magazines tels que HR Magazine, The Hollywood Reporter et Icon Magazine. A chaque illustration, cet artiste utilise des couleurs très vives et des figures qui s’entremêlent pour former un dessin. A découvrir dans la suite.

Terry Border se décrit à la fois comme photographe mais aussi en tant qu’humoriste. Il s’est amusé, avec sa série Wiry Limbs Paper Backs, à reprendre des couvertures de livres et à détourner l’objet en fonction de l’histoire que contient ce dernier. Un rendu réussi à découvrir dans la suite.
L’éditeur américain Riverhead a collaboré avec le cabinet MakerBot, spécialisé dans l’impression 3D pour créer cet étui pour le roman futuriste ‘On Such a Full Sea’ de l’écrivain américano-coréenne Chang-rae Lee. Un rendu impressionnant, qui fait de ce livre une œuvre d’art à part entière.
The AVA is a Smartphone cover with unique communicative capabilities. It uses the built-in accelerometer or gyroscope of the Smartphone, to intuitively change your social network status to ‘absent’, ‘available’, ‘busy’, or ‘away’. For example, if you are logged into Facebook, and want to switch your status from ‘available’ to ‘invisible’, then simply nudge the shell to a side-face. This not only changes the status but also changes the mode from ‘ring’ to ‘silent’. The only other corresponding mode is ‘vibrate’.
