However, the fabulously dressed British socialite and writer has been a fixture on the high style scene since the 1990’s. Once married to cricket player Imran Khan, and a former long term girlfriend of Hugh Grant, Khan had her front row seat reserved at fashion shows way before through her titled mother, Lady Annabel and her financier father Sir James Michael Goldsmith. With a social calendar as jam-packed as hers, Jemima Khan is dressed to the nines day in and day out. Says Khan, “I couldn’t define my style — that’s impossible. But did you know that the former member of Charlie’s Angels has been designing her collection with Kmart since 1985? That’s light years before all the celebrity clothing lines we see today! These days, she’s been taking over the world in style with more than 100 million women wearing her clothes. Who Can Pull Off A Bright Red Pin-Up Girl Pucker?

According to some of today’s most beauty-savvy starlets, the chic trend in lip color during this almost-summer season is a punchy red-orange pout to match the red carpet they’re treading on! With accompanying curly locks and sometimes even mile-long lash extensions to boot, it seems like young Hollywood fashionistas are taking a page from the old Hollywood glamour book and channeling some of their favorite pin-up poster girls in a way that’s both classic and hip. While Katy Perry is no stranger to cranberry lipstick (topped with cherry chapstick, no doubt), other lippy ladies like TV bad gal AnnaLynne McCord, Katharine McPhee, and Evan Rachel Wood are less about the retro-glam gimmick and more about making a bold yet risky statement with their racy kisser. David Beckham Unveils New Emporio Armani Underwear Ads At Selfridges, We Are Not Over It

imageDressed in a navy blue Armani suit, David Beckham greeted fans at the Selfridges store on London’s Oxford Street yesterday where he unveiled his latest ads for Emporio Armani underwear, dressed in, well, not much at all. Giorgio Armani had this to say: “David has a great sense of style and is an inspiring role model– this is what makes him the perfect partner for Emporio Armani underwear.” I can think of a couple of other things that make him the perfect partner for Emporio Armani underwear, but I clearly lack Mr. Armani’s professionalism and restraint, so there you have it.

imageAt the CW Upfronts, a blonde Leighton Meester demonstrated how to rock the menswear trend the right way by perfectly balancing sexy with sophisticated. The Gossip Girl star paired a structured black blazer with a pair of black shorts- both by Jil Sander– and gave these timeless style staples a modern edge with some seriously funky Brian Atwood pumps, adding a dose of sex appeal by showcasing her gorgeous gams. To maintain the minimalist, sophisticated motif, Leighton refrained from accessory overload, adding just a touch of glitz to her look with two subtle, yet stunning, rings worn on each hand- the perfect finishing touch to this seriously chic look. The short suit is a perfect alternative to the pantsuit for summer and can work from from the boardroom to the bar and be sexed up or toned down to suit any occasion. Photographed by Mario Testino, the 19 year-old Emma (aka Hermione Granger in the “Harry Potter” flicks) looks all grown up and oh so stylish as the new face of the British fashion house. She’s definitely come a long way from the bushy haired character she’s plays! It comes to no surprise that she’s landed a major campaign like this, but after months of speculation and many photo ops with Karl Lagerfeld, many were hoping she’d be the face of Chanel instead. Best Dressed Celebs Leighton Meester, Lauren Conrad And More At The MTV Movie Awards

imageAt the MTV Movie Awards (Oscar’s red-headed cousin thrice-removed), the “Twilight” team won a zillion awards, host Andy Samberg sang an ode to turning one’s back on explosions, Sacha Baron Cohen “offended” Eminem, and … yadda yadda. What about the clothes? We were glued to the red carpet to see the latest in celeb styles. While there were some misses such as Kristen Stewart pairing a gorgeous Yigal Azrouel dress with Converse sneakers, there were quite a few hits too. Hayden Panettiere and Kristen Bell went (very) LBD, Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port were a study in contrasts, and Leighton Meester — well, all you Blair Waldorf fans are going to have to see it to believe it.
