Nicole Richie to Partner With A Pea in the Pod!

imageWe love Nicole Richie’s style. And we love that, even when she’s pregnant, she still looks extremely well put-together and fashionable. She doesn’t let a little baby weight get her down! And now she’s bringing her maternity style to everyone. Nicole’s getting ready to have her second baby and the girl looks good. And now she’s partnering up with A Pea in the Pod to bring her maternity fashions to everyone. According to Nicole, “A Pea in the Pod and I joined to create a capsule collection of maternity wear that will be available in stores this summer. Last weekend I shot some images for the campaign with one of my favorite photographers, James White. I’m really excited for you all to see the new collection.” The Pea in the Pod clothing line is due out at the end of the summer (get it, due?!) and we can’t wait to see what it looks like. Knowing Nicole Richie, it’s going to be pretty, bohemian chic designs and we’ll probably love it. We can definitely see lots of moms-to-be wanting to look as chic as the pregnant Nicole! It’s also been said that Nicole Richie and boyfriend Joel Madden are furnishing the entire baby nursery in a green, environmentally-friendly manner. Vogue Australia Celebrates 50 With Illustrated Covers

imageWhile Anna Wintour has been at work making her magazine “recession-friendly,” the international Vogue editions have been heading in an artsier direction lately with innovative collaborations and special editions all around. Now, Vogue Australia has also decided to do something a bit different. For its 50th anniversary, the magazine is putting out a commemorative issue (September 2009) featuring the work of famous fashion and celeb illustrator, David Downton. In four separate covers, Downton sketched Cate Blanchett in vintage styles that recall the days before photography. Paris Hilton Shops At Barney’s In Yumi Kim’s ‘Woori’ Dress

imageParis Hilton was recently photographed at Barneys wearing a very cute strappy green dress and white hot accessories. Regardless of your opinion of the heiress (or if you even have one), you’ve got to admit she looks pretty well put together. And I think I finally understand why celebs like Paris make such a point of dressing up just to go shopping. After all, they do say you should dress for the job you want, and if looking hot and shopping are career goals, then she’s well on her way! As for me, I’ll just settle for owning her dress. At the launch party for the new OP campaign “OPen Campus” in Hollywood, Nicky kept it clean and chic, teaming a super funky Charlay 5.0 tie-dye skirt with a simple white tank and structured navy blue blazer. She accessorized with a pair of summery yet glamorous white patent peep-toe pumps, a few statement-bracelets, stacked rings, and a timeless Chanel quilted chain strap bag. The contrast between the tie-dyed skirt and sharp blazer was an unlikely pairing that worked flawlessly for a fabulous summer style that can easily go from work time to playtime. Who Was Most Chic She-Geek At This Year’s Comic Con?

imageIf you’re not familiar with Comic Con, despite what the media and the fangirls may have misled you to believe, it is not actually a weekend-long festival dedicated to shirtless film clips of Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner (believe me, I would have been there if it was). The annual event, which took place in San Diego last weekend, has traditionally served to honor the best in comics, action figures, superheroes, and anything sci-fi and fantasy in film and television… and boasts the biggest concentration of nerds in one place next to a Star Trek Convention (I say that with love). However, ever since the recent rise of R-Pattz, Comic Con has gained a much broader following among the preteen female fanatic demographic, much to the disgusted dismay of faithful convention-goers who preferred the event before it was tainted by anything “Twilight.” But the event wasn’t all vampires and pocket protectors. Sexy Hollywood starlets like Scarlett Johansson and Megan Fox helped add a little style sense to the arena while promoting sci-fi flicks “Iron Man 2” and “Jennifer’s Body,” respectively.
