We all have our favorite celebrities and celebrity styles that we love to try and emulate, but while re-making an entire ensemble may prove to be quite difficult at times (afterall, we love their looks, but we’d love to have the same money to spend on it more!), copying a flattering hairstyle is much easier. We’ve gathered three big-name stars that have recently taken drastic style changes to their own coifs and we have to say … we love it! So from spunky short cuts to long, luxurious waves and this season’s ‘it’ hair color, here are three celeb styles that we want to try for ourselves!
Textured Straight Bob – The voluptuous Scarlett Johansson recently debuted her new, shorter bob. This is the perfect look for someone trying to shed a girl-next-door image for something a little more sensual, but youthful. To add texture, like Scarlet, rub in a few drops of texturizing cream or serum to damp hair, part hair slightly off center and let air dry. Finish with a few spritzes of light hold spray and you’ve got yourself an A-list look!
Deep Chocolate Waves – A darker hue, like Jessica Biels’ color, is always in during cooler months. Darker shades give an air of sensual mystery and are automatically reflect more light, making hair look shinier and glossier. Opt for a shade or two darker than what you’d ultimately like when getting hair colored. To achieve Jessica’s look, apply a few drops of sleeking serum to damp hair. Blow dry hair. Once dry, divide hair into wide sections and curl the bottom portion with a medium sized barrel. Separate gently to style and finish off with a curl-enhancing hair spray.
Short Sexy Pixie Cut – This style is flattering and versatile, able to range from sweet to sassy with just a few shakes of the wrist, but chopping off your locks takes courage and is for those that are truly looking for a hair make-over! Ashlee Simpson took the brave step and has never looked better! Modernize your pixie cut like Ashlee did by keeping bangs longer and wispier for sex appeal. Once cut, this hair style is easy to upkeep with just a few drops of texturizing cream applied to hair while damp. Style and blow-dry as usual.
