Get Cameron Diaz’s Fun and Playful Kid’s Choice Awards Look

At this year’s Kid’s Choice Awards, Cameron Diaz rocked a fun and playful style that stayed true to her young-at-heart spirit as well as her grown-up sex appeal. Cameron took her look to retro territories wearing a 40s style Michael Kors polka dot top and 90’s grunge-inspired ripped jeans from Seven for All Mankind. She added some sexy femininity to the look by emphasizing her waist with a white belt and rounded out the ensemble with a punchy red LAI clutch, black DSquared2 pumps, an elegant Gamma Redux bracelet, and subtle cocktail ring. Overall, this look was classic with an undeniably modern edge and is a fabulously fresh style for the start of spring. Check out my SLIDESHOW to get the look! Check out my SLIDESHOW to get the look!

Steal Whitney Port’s Sexy-Chic Look!

To host her sister’s bachelorette party at Tao in Las Vegas, reality star Whitney Port rocked a killer downtown-chic look that was sexy and edgy without being over the top. Whitney showed off her endless legs in a black leather miniskirt which she paired with a spectacular pair of Manolo Blahnik sandals. To offset the inherent sexiness of the skirt, she wore a loose, scoop neck white tee from miniskirt which she paired with a spectacular pair of Kain, adding a sort of hipster-cool vibe to the look. Never one to scrimp on the accessories, Whitney finished the look with a large gold cuff, a studded leather bracelet and a playful cocktail ring. The end result was a seriously fabulous, totally wearable look that had that accidental sort of sex appeal that is just so hot right now. Check out my SLIDESHOW to get this sexy-chic look!

Get Lauren Conrad’s Breezy, Chic Springtime Style!

At The Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation and Sony Cierge fundraiser event, reality darling Lauren Conrad stepped out to show her support showcasing a fabulous spring-time style that was fun and fashion-forward but still stayed true to her signature California-cool style. Lauren kept her look simple but a little bit off-beat chic wearing a billowy Chelsea Flower top paired with slouchy black shorts by Loeffler Randall— I’m totally loving shorts as an alternative to the mini skirt for a night-time look. She rounded out the mix with a pair of Christian Louboutin peep-toe pumps, a sleek black clutch, a totally glam silver necklace and a braided headband that gave the look a fantastic boho twist. Video Style Steal: Go GaGa Over Ladylike Interpretations Of Lady GaGa’s “Poker Face”

Whether or not you’re a fan of her futuristic, robot-like, pantsless persona, you can’t deny that Lady GaGa is an interesting character (after all, anyone who can make Perez stop talking about the Octo-Mom for a few posts has to be at least somewhat intriguing). With electro-pop hits like “Just Dance,” “Poker Face,” and any of the other sound-alike tracks off her debut album The Fame, GaGa has gained a rapidly-growing following. While I certainly don’t question the appeal of her catchy beats (although I’m still trying to figure out what on Earth a “disco stick” is), I’m thoroughly convinced that her talked-all-over-town popularity is due largely in part to her bizarre outfit choices and overall “Donatella Versace in outer space” gimmick. And while we at Stylehive would never promote public indecency by encouraging you to go without pants in public, you may be surprised to see just how inspirational some of Lady GaGa’s futuristic fashion choices really are, as long as you don’t attempt a literal translation of her shiny black catsuits and hooded capes. From practical patent leather booties to a chunky cocktail ring and a simple pair of liquid leggings, you can channel the artist’s funky style (one bold piece at a time!) and still stop traffic without looking like a spaceship! Click “See Video” to watch her provocatively funky “Poker Face” vid, then check out the slideshow to see some wearable translations of her eccentric ensembles!

Reel to Real: Get The Claire Standish Look From “The Breakfast Club”

Claire Standish: Love her or hate her, she’s the quintessential ’80s princess you either wanted to be or wanted to run over (but still… wanted to be). Played by Molly Ringwald, she is forever remembered for dropping gems like, “Do you know how popular I am? I am so popular. Everybody loves me so much at this school,” she eventually redeemed herself by crossing social battle lines to hook up with the outcast Bender (Judd Nelson) and giving Allison (Ally Sheedy) a compassionate, less invasive version of “The Swan” in the girls’ bathroom. Yet it’s her clothes, maybe more than her status, that we coveted. Classic rich yet understated WASP/prep style: knee-length tweed skirts, lace-up riding boots, and layered tops paired with leather accessories. With the ’80s back in full-force on the Fall 2009 runways, jump on the trend early– or just if you’re feeling nostalgic– and cop Claire’s look by clicking the slideshow.

Style Steal: Get Angelina Jolie’s Dazzling Oscar Jewelry Look

A priceless stud hanging from your wrist and some priceless stones hanging from your heavenly-constructed head could only mean one thing: you’re Angelina Jolie. While it may be difficult to nab a studly look-a-like like Brad Pitt, one fashion must-have can be mimicked. As if an appearance by the Brangelina duo at the Academy Awards wasn’t enough to turn heads, Angelina stole the red-carpet with a bit of ear candy: her 115 carat Lorraine Schwartz Colombian emerald drop earrings that have been estimated to be valued in the high millions of dollars. The boldly shaped and colored jewels peeking out from her long flowing hair formed a fashion statement that will be remembered for many Oscar nights to come. Her already elegant look, premised with a premium choice black Elie Saab gown, was brought to a whole new level of movie-star mogul-dom with the pair of deep, piercing green gemstones- plain-jane black never looked quite so, uh, un-plain. Style Steal: Get Kate Winslet’s Oscar Jewelry Look!

It must be pretty good to be Kate Winslet right about now, and I’m thinking the designer dresses and jewelry have very little to do with that! But given her immense talent and grace, emulating her red carpet choices might just be the closest we come to being like her, and I have a feeling that’s something many are willing to settle for. At Sunday night’s Academy Awards Winslet paired her Yves Saint Laurent dress with stunning Chopard diamond chandelier earrings, which accented her look beautifully without distracting from her gown. We found a similar pair by Slane & Slane for under $500, a teeny fraction of what the Chopard diamonds would cost, at Neiman Marcus- we love how classic and intricate they are. Don’t want to shell out quite so much? We’ve come up with a few much more affordable options, so you can add a little red carpet style to your everyday look. Video Style Steal: Kelly Clarkson Proves Our Lives Would Suck Without Hot Fashion Finds

Kelly Clarkson has already marked 2009 as the year of her comeback with her record-breaking new single “My Life Would Suck Without You” and her upcoming fourth album “All I Ever Wanted” due out this March… and I’d say it’s about time! Our favorite American Idol winner has slipped under the radar for a year or two, and we single folk have certainly missed her solid girl-power singles (there hasn’t been another liberating breakup song to belt out the car window quite as satisfying as “Since U Been Gone”) and soulfully poignant power ballads to get us through those romantic rough patches. And in her absence, plenty of new female performers have stepped up to the plate to both fill in the void on the charts and serve as our fashion muses — such as Katy Perry’s naughty pin-up girl style and Duffy’s jazzy throwback feel — but there just hasn’t been any other performer to do the casual-yet-chic rocker chick vibe justice quite like Kelly can. While some Clarkson critics may say her new song lyrics seem strangely self-sacrificing and sunny compared to her previous ex-bashing persona we all knew and loved, her video for “My Life Would Suck Without You” shows that even though her bitter lyrics may have sweetened up a bit, she’s still got her playful-yet-empowered edginess and sophisticated rockstar style, not to mention tons of hair-whipping energy to boot. With lots of layered jewelry, the right cropped blazer, and the legs to pull off a pair of shiny leggings as pants, you can put your own spin on both Kelly’s power-performer style and her joyriding girl-next-door get-up she rocks in the video. Take a look at the video yourself, then check the slideshow to see how you can channel Kelly’s kick-ass comeback looks- no stylist needed!
