Hot In The Hive: Source Toothbrush

imageDespite the fact that we just celebrated Earth Day on April 22, we should always treat Mother Nature with respect. After all, we’ve only got one home in the universe! Apart from bring a reusable bag when going shopping, buying vintage clothing, and repairing rather than tossing clothing, there’s always more we can do. Consider the twice daily ritual of brushing your teeth. We throw away one every three months which means that over 300 toothbrushes end up in a landfill during a lifetime. The people of Radius created the Source Toothbrush as a way to combat the wastefulness. Travel Smart With A Duffel Bag

imageAside from the copious amounts of vintage dresses, high heels and makeup I constantly whip out my credit card to purchase, I’m also an avid buyer of plane tickets. I love to travel whether it’s a quick weekend trip to Los Angeles or a month in Europe. While I love to travel, I hate flying and I’m also super paranoid about checking in my luggage unless it’s absolutely necessary. So I’ve perfected the art of packing into a duffel bag. Before you think of smelly gym socks, duffel bags have come a long way since high school. Designers from Marc Jacobs to Rebecca Minkoff have their own version of a chic duffel bag. Stone Jewelry For An Earthy Look That Really Rocks

imagePlease excuse the mind-numbingly silly title pun, but I do think it makes a valid point. Normally when you think of stone jewelry, you get beads made to look like pebbles, perfectly-formed round marbles that are supposed to be agate, or teal chunks of plastic made to look like turquoise.
