imageNow that the warming weather is allowing for daytime dresses without the additional leg coverage in the form of leggings or tights, the possibilities are opening up for breezier, more summery styles given that you’ll no longer freeze your butt off! For the season ahead, the trend I’m really diggin’ is belted sundresses. Something about the juxtaposition of the floaty, flouncy nature of your typical sundress paired with the structure of a belted waist is totally appealing, not to mention way flattering and figure-enhancing! Go for a bolder colorblocked look with a dress with a contrasting belt, or be seamlessly cinched with one that has a matching sash. Of course, you could always add your own belt to any ol’ sundress, but you gotta love the no-brainer convenience of a cute dress that already comes accessorized! imageI remember growing up sitting at a huge desk that housed the family computer and bulky CRT monitor. I don’t know about you, but it seems like everyone has a computer with a flat screen monitor, a laptop or an even teenier netbook. To add to that, we no longer have stacks of CDs or floppy discs to take up even more office real estate. So that means we can all ditch the large desks and go for something more space saving and streamlined. Wear A Cute Mini Dress All Day!

imageWho doesn’t love putting on a cute mini dress and heels and flaunt what their mama gave them? The thing is, mini dresses for night are usually quite tight, skimpy and wildy inappropriate for day wear. Sunny days, however, do call for less fabric on a daily basis and while baring the girls for all to see in broad day light may send a wrong message, showing off your gams is a classier way to show a little sex appeal and stay cool. Mini dresses are totally wearable during the day, all you need to do is make a few minor style changes to make it sunshine ready. Look for a more fluid drape and looser silhouette, sweet (think floral or polka dot) patterns, and brighter, lighter colors. Heels are always hot, but for height, try pairing it with wedges for a more daytime vibe. Or throw on a pair of flats or flat sandals for a stylishly casual feel.
