Spring is on its way, so I’m spicing up my wardrobe with a little wild spunk. In honor of their 125th anniversary, Bulgari has created a gorgeous ring to benefit Save the Children’s “Rewrite the Future” campaign. Through the campaign, Save the Children is committed to providing quality education to 8 million children living in conflict-affected areas by 2010. With each sale of the $290 stunning sterling silver ring- designed to pay tribute to Sotirio Bulgari, the company’s founder who began as a silversmith- $60 will be donated to benefit this amazing cause. The sale of the ring is part of a larger initiative to raise 10 million Euros by the end of the year. This will also be achieved by the second part which will occur in May when 15 pieces of jewelry will debut in Rome and then go on a tour which will end with and auction in New York in December. Most gals don’t really need a reason to buy jewelry but now we actually have a really good one!

It must be pretty good to be Kate Winslet right about now, and I’m thinking the designer dresses and jewelry have very little to do with that! But given her immense talent and grace, emulating her red carpet choices might just be the closest we come to being like her, and I have a feeling that’s something many are willing to settle for. At Sunday night’s Academy Awards Winslet paired her Yves Saint Laurent dress with stunning Chopard diamond chandelier earrings, which accented her look beautifully without distracting from her gown. Launching March 1st, he is quite possibly the most fashion-forward designer that Target has had design a capsule collection and maybe one of the most anticipated. The 44-piece collection of ultra affordable wears has surpassed even the toughest critics expectations. Taking inspiration from his past collections, he gives us some timeless items with his usual rock and roll flair, mixing girly pieces like a zigzag print gathered one shouldered dress and gored flared skirt with tougher items like a zip-shoulder mesh sweater and leather vests. A denim motorcycle jacket and leather vest as well selection of t-shirts round out the collection perfectly making it easy to buy, extraordinarily cool and defiantly worth the highway travel.
