imageSince the Brazilian brand Havaianas in 2001 was introduced in the Netherlands there’s a big hype created around the brand. Havaianas flip-flops are true must-haves for your summer wardrobe. And the flip-flops are available in all shapes and sizes! The new collection for Summer 2009 is unique and surprising. The range has grown in variety compared to previous years. The collection is characterized by warm and summery colors, with shades of purple and gold. Hats off to you, though, as we commemorate your maturity in personality and knowledge! These accomplishments certainly shouldn’t go without notice. Hot In The Hive: Dior Addict Spinning Lip Polish

imageI know what you’re thinking — what’s so “hot” about a regular tube of Dior lip gloss? Yeah, it’s pretty… but it’s also pretty expensive. What you may not be able to tell from this photo of a seemingly “regular tube of Dior lip gloss” is that the Dior Addict Lip Polish has undergone a rather unusual upgrade. In the spirit of bizarre new beauty gizmos like illuminating tweezers and vibrating mascara (which just sounds like a disaster waiting to happen, in my opinion), what used to be just your average sponge swab applicator is now a spinning “magic wand.” Yes, folks — the applicator rolls as you glossify, to apparently help you channel the application techniques of expert makeup artists (you know, just in case you have some kind of wrist deformity that won’t allow you to manually mimic the action on your own). For $30 a pop, even a gloss addict like myself isn’t convinced that my pucker is going to look much more “pro status” from this beauty tech boost, but hey — I guess I shouldn’t knock it till I’ve tried it!
