Coquette Says Gimme Shoes!

imageWhen I lived near Hayes Valley in San Francisco, I used to get off the bus a few stops ahead just so I could wander down Hayes Street and browse around at one of my favorite shoe stores, Gimme Shoes. It was a little happy place for me to just be around all these beautiful shoes, even if I hadn’t exactly left room in the budget for an additional pair or two. I’m happy to report that they now have everything online so even if you aren’t in San Francisco, you can still shop their extensive and stylish collection! Havaianas For Summer 2009!

imageSince the Brazilian brand Havaianas in 2001 was introduced in the Netherlands there’s a big hype created around the brand. Havaianas flip-flops are true must-haves for your summer wardrobe. And the flip-flops are available in all shapes and sizes! The new collection for Summer 2009 is unique and surprising. The range has grown in variety compared to previous years. The collection is characterized by warm and summery colors, with shades of purple and gold. You also see the latest trends of this season in the sandals, like natural motifs (animals and flowers), the Roman style (braids and straps) and slippers with a wedge heel. Some days, I honestly can’t be bothered to scrutinize my entire appearance, but if I’m only dealing with how I look from the knees down, then I’m a happy camper. Especially if Italian leather makes its way into the reflection. Some people are powerless before chocolate souffle, for me, it’s Jimmy Choo (okay, sometimes it is the souffle). Good thing Simon has seen enough of my shoe purchases to know that I’m only having an affair with his footwear!
