The first Tweed Run took place in London recently with about 150 cyclists wearing tweeds and the like. A veritable Gentleman’s Whiskey and Chat on two wheels. We need to bring this stateside. Any takers?

I haven’t had time yet to wish my dear friend Heather a Happy New Year …. she has started this new year with some fantastic new towels, cushions and prints … amazing to see how she gets inspired by ‘just’ an IKEA catalogue, a true artist! Looking forward seeing much more new work of skinny laminx in 2009!

I find it very inspiring to look at prints on fabrics, they make me want to make stuff for our house, for Lode’s room or handmade presents for Christmas … Bee Square Fabrics is an excellent place where you can buy some fantastic fabrics online. I particularly like the ‘Fish‘ inspired fabrics by Heather Ross … I could easily frame a piece of the golden fish fabric and hang it on one of Lode’s walls …
