Quest’anno le Officine Creative Ansaldo ospitavano i ragazzi di Designersblock. Noi li abbiamo visitati per @SkyArteHD. Il collettivo di designer inglesi hanno messo in mostra alcuni tra i loro migliori progetti. Ve ne posso segnalare in particolare tre che hanno attirato la mia attenzione: Olivia Alice con i suoi diffusori di odori milanesi, il magico ripara-bottoni di Tic e l’eleganza di Axthor Furniture.

Dezeen promotion: Designersblock Department Store will showcase work by young designers and makers at Interiors UK 2013 in Birmingham next month, and registration is now open to attend the event.

Brands and designers such as Max Lamb, HulgerHouse of Hackney and many others will exhibit products including furniture, accessories, toys and lighting at the trade show.

Designersblock will be held in Hall 2 at the NEC in Birmingham during Interiors UK from 20 to 23 January 2013.

Hall 2 at Interiors UK will once again host the work of the very finest up and coming designers in one of the most popular features of the show, in collaboration with Designersblock. The Designersblock team will be using their creative talent to showcase their designer’s work by creating a totally new store concept, brand and identity in Designersblock & Co, the department store that you will never see, with products that aren’t in department stores today!

This giant feature will explore what the future of retailing might look like and will include a concoction of departments featuring furniture, accessories, toys, lighting and lots more, all sourced from Designersblock’s vast network of young designers and design makers. The line-up for the Designersblock department store includes the likes of House of Hackney, JiB Studio, Plumen, Camilla Barnard, Sam Weller, Studio Sudi and Sarah Turner to name a few.
