World Time for Dummies
Posted in: UncategorizedThe WRLDCLCK simplifies telling time in different cities in one clever and awesomely simple device. The user can personalize the clock to their liking by adding as many hour hands as desired. Each hand is preprinted with various world cities and blank on the other so custom stickers can be added for other locations. Just snap on the different cities and forget it! And if you think wall clocks are passé, there’s also an app for your smartphone!

Conceived for use by the blind but stylish enough to appeal to a broader market, the Nike Citrus watch’s spiral form stretches to fit any wrist size and hints to its zesty inspiration: an orange peel twist. To tell time, the wearer simply touches the tactile, concave face to feel for the hour and minute hands. Unlike many other products for the seeing-impaired, this one can be universally appreciated and mass-produced to keep unit prices low!

Death of the Wall Clock
Posted in: Accessories & Fashion, timepieceThe BIBO watch (name derived from the Indian name Biboswan meaning Sun God) is a response to the modern work week, which renders wall-mounted home clocks useless when no one is there from 9-5. The entire face unit is removable and can be left on the wrist band, or placed in a tabletop dock where it projects the time onto a wall using a built-in mini-projector! However different, both the strap and dock are stylistically connected by sharing the same striking Madhubani geometric art pattern.

Basic Time
Posted in: TIME-LINE, You HaeyonThe purpose of a clock is to tell the time, and if we have one that portrays that in a very simplistic way, then it’s like Dieter’s good design. The TIME-LINE is a clock that reduces its expression to a single clock hand and a small LED light. Ironically the design process for this clock began with the idea that we need to make time simple.
The TIME-LINE only has an hour hand and its shape is linear and simple, and there is no surrounding frame. An LED light point set within the central circle rotates to indicate the minute. A GPS timer in the body constantly rotates the hour hand and the minute indicator so as to show the present time. Fixed and detachable magnets on the base allow the clock to be attached to any object.
