Give Stripes A Fashion-Forward Spin Like Nicky Hilton

imageAt the Beverly Hills launch of the Paris Hilton hair and beauty line, Nicky Hilton rocked this season’s strong shoulder trend to perfection with a look that was fun, sexy, and statement-making without being too dramatic. Nicky gave her look a nautical spirit with a striped tunic dress which she topped off with a tuxedo jacket. Given the standout nature of the jacket, she kept everything else minimal, accessorizing the look with patent Yves Saint Laurent platform pumps, a matching black patent clutch, and a dainty Chanel beaded necklace. I love how Nicky teamed a basic, wear-anywhere tunic with an of-the-moment item- it definitely elevated what could have been a very standard, run-of-the-mill style into so much more. Which GLEE Star Rocked The Best Look At The Fox All-Star Party?

imageThey’re the new kids on the block with their sunny smiles and amazing voices, and now they’re showing off their styles on the red carpet! The cast members of Glee are all over the place these days and with fame comes constant scrutiny. No problems there because not only do they have magnetic personalities and voices, but they also aren’t scared to strut their stuff. For the recent Fox All-Star Party in Pasadena, California, many stars showed up in their best semi-formal looks and posed for the cameras. The girls of Glee (minus Diana Agron who plays Quinn) were all smiles – and hot dresses too! With looks ranging from sweet and floral to simply sexy, the Glee girls showed that their range doesn’t apply to only their vocals, but to their style as well. Take the poll below and choose your favorite Glee fashionista! Was it Jayma Mays in her sweet cutout dress that stole the show? Or maybe you preferred Jenna Ushkowitz’s pretty floral number and sleek black Louboutin pumps for a girly, but understated look. Can’t Wait For The Golden Globes? Check Out Our Red Carpet Gown Predictions!

imageLast week’s People’s Choice Awards only served to whet our anxiousness for the arrival of awards show season, so if you’re as excited as we are to kick off the red carpet’s busiest time of the year, you’ve gotta be counting down to the Golden Globes (2 days!!). While I can’t even begin to predict who will sweep up the majority of the trophies this year (Glee! Glee! Glee!), I have started to speculate on what the night’s leading ladies might wear. Rumor has it that stars are playing it safe by sticking to their signature looks… but maybe that’s just what they want us to think so they can sufficiently blow our socks off come arrival time! If I were to guess, Angelina Jolie will probably stick to her tried-and-true boring black dresses, and Marion Cotillard will show up looking elegant as ever in something beaded and strapless… but newcomers like Lea Michele and Zoe Saldana are a little harder to pin down. Of course, it’s very unlikely that any of the event’s A-listers would be caught dead in something currently available on the racks at Saks or Bloomies, but I think my picks are still a pretty good guesses toward whatever updated, hot-off-the-sewing-machine gowns they’ll end up rocking on the big night. LimeLife Dishes On A Jersey Shore Clothing Line?!

imageWhile lots of us are crazy-obsessed with watching Jersey Shore, I’m not so certain many of us want to dress like the characters. But cast member JWoWW thinks we do, so she’s working on a clothing line so we can all go out clubbing in “style.” You’ve seen JWoWW (also known as Jenni Farley) wearing her infamous yellow shirt. You know the one — it’s super low-cut and basically doesn’t contain any fabric at all. JWoWW’s fake boobs hang out of it and you end up spending the entire 30 minutes of the show (if you last that long) praying it doesn’t shift a little to the right, showing far too much. Well, good news: that shirt can be yours if you head to JWoWW’s website! But if you’re not a fan of that shirt (or you already own it), just hold tight a little bit longer because she plans to come out with an entire clothing line! According to her, “I actually stopped production on my shirts temporarily because I merged with a clothing line who will help me turn my simple line into something big!” Personally, I’m a bit doubtful that this line will ever come to fruition. Video Style Steal: Ke$ha Accessorizes Like A Rockstar In “Tik Tok”

imageI don’t know if it’s just the curly blonde hair or her overall party-girl appearance, but singer Ke$ha (yes, she spells it with a dollar sign) is already being referred to as a “drunk Taylor Swift.” One cursory listen to her just-released album Animal, however, and it’s pretty clear that her music doesn’t sound even remotely like Swifty’s, but considering her video for “Tik Tok” begins with her crawling out of a bathtub like the tiger from “The Hangover,” the moniker doesn’t seem so far-fetched. Whether you love her guilty pleasure dance tracks or just find them trashy, you’ve got to admit that the girl knows how to multitask with her outfit. After all, you have be pretty versatile to rock the same clothes from the tub to the street and out to the club (and probably back to the tub after that). Rock Sexy Shorts Like Jessica Stroup!

imageAt the GQ Men of the Year party in Hollywood, “90210” star Jessica Stroup looked polished and chic. Jessica showcased her stunning gams with a pair of glittering shorts by Amber Valetta for Monrow and sexy Jimmy Choo booties. She offset the sexiness of her short-shorts with a slightly loose satin top and slightly slouchy black blazer- both by Monrow. To keep the look on the minimal side, she abandoned accessory excess, finishing the look with a just compact box clutch. Shorts are a fabulous alternative to miniskirts, in a not obviously sexy kind of way. This look would also look amazing with black tights, for a more cold-weather friendly outfit. Which Hollywood Star Looks Hottest In Her Designer Leggings?

imageAs awesome as your go-to favorite pair of jeans have always treated you through the years, lately you’ve been wanting to switch things up. Sometimes you want something a little less bulky than denim to tuck into your boots, yet with a little more coverage than your typical patterned tights. Leggings are the perfect all-weather way to show off your gams without actually exposing yourself a la Lady GaGa — they can winter-ize your summery dresses, or serve as a replacement for your jeans in the hotter months, which is why I’m sure this trend won’t be leaving us anytime soon. And celebrities agree, rocking them with anything from riding boots and peep-toe platforms. While I’m not sure I could justify spending $100 or more on my own pair, if I had a star-worthy bank account I’d definitely check out Nicky Hilton’s Alice + Olivia pair, or the styles from Lindsay Lohan’s line 6126, spotted on Paris, Beyonce, & Taylor Swift.
