The Komodo channels the same fierce power and tough aesthetic of the Mahindra brand’s famous trucks and tractors. The concept is in like with crossovers like the BMW X6 or Infiniti FX, but purposely lacks the delicacy and refinement that makes the other’s owners cringe at the though of driving through a puddle. Instead, its rough-and-tumble character begs for the off-road and is happier towing toys and getting dirty than cruising down the boulevard!

DOMI is a compact concept that provides a solution for both driven and undriven modes. The interior cabin can be laid out like an office or living room so the user can catch up on work or simply relax while the vehicle self-guides to the destination using a combination of GPS and smart road sign technology. As the entire world is waking up to the fact that preservation of nature is essential for the existence of humanity, Eco-friendly products are gathering genuine respect world over. In a time when Mink coats and alligator leather are frowned upon, the luxury market is reinventing itself by coming up wit with ecologically responsible products. The Mercedes Benz LX concept by Irfendy Mohamad is an attempt to explore this undercurrent.
The LX concept proposes usage of Bagasse, the fibrous leftover from sugarcane juice extraction, for automotive body parts. Bagasse, when treated properly, can constitute a rigid, bio-degradable structure with practical durability and desirable texture. The fibrous connection doesn’t end there. The organically flowing crease lines on the radically designed car concept were inspired by Bagasse fibres. It is reassuring to see budding designers championing ecological responsibility. Let us hope for a near future where sugar daddies flaunt their bio-degradable rides to impress the chicks. The Bagasse way.

Rolls-Royce and Yachts. That is how high rollers roll on both Terra firma and Aqua fluida. So why not blend em both into a single entity to make a splash (quite literally) in the luxury scene? That is what Stefan Munro has attempted with his Rolls Royce 450EX yacht concept. With a 14.5m length, the 450EX is intended as a daytime luxury cruiser with the prestige of the luxury marque.
His internship at Rolls Royce seems to have helped Stefan to seamlessly embed the design DNA and principles of the RR styling on to a different platform. The subtle exteriors that reflect the sober English etiquette blends smoothly with the aggressive looking exposed parts. o well that it feels like a cup of earl grey spiked with Red Bull.
The Phantomish nose, the stance, the body lines all speaks the RR connect. Ofcourse, in a controlled voice, like gentlemen do. As expected, the interiors are elegantly luxurious. The design also proposes features like monocoque chasis and suspended interiors for added comfort.
Pampered with the stylish aesthetics and luxurious features of 450EX, the only thing left to do would be uncorking that champagne bottle and letting the spirit of ecstasy flow overboard.
