The latest from Peleg Design’s pack of wildlife-inspired designs, the YolkFish is the most fun and functional way to separate your yolks and egg whites. Just give it a squeeze, put its lips to the yolk, release! Just squeeze it again to push the yolk into a bowl or other container. Watch the vid to see its sucking power in action!

3000 Ceramic Eggs Installation

L’artiste chinois Shi Shaoping présente des clichés de lieux désertiques dans lesquels il a installé 3 000 œufs en céramique. D’un poids de 10kg chacun, il réalise ces œuvres seul, et cherche à symboliser la fragilité et la beauté de la naissance. Des œuvres présentées au Today Art Museum à Beijing.

The Exbury Egg est une structure de bois résultat de la collaboration entre le PAD studio, le SPUD group et l’artiste Stephen Turner. A l’aide de techniques de construction maritime, le work space peut flotter dans l’estuaire de la rivière Beaulieu au Royaume-Uni. Plus de détails dans la suite de l’article.

Shells, Whites and Yolk

It seems to be a magical appliance that separates the egg whites from the yolk in one swift twist and I am all for it! Egg Separator is a device where you place the whole egg, yes with the shell intact, into the central compartment. With a sharp twist and turn, you get the shells in one place, the whites in a separate compartment and the yolk in another. Sounds perfect, and something very handy for the MasterChef kitchen!

Oksana Mas est un artiste ukrainien qui utilise des oeufs en bois peints à la main pour assembler des mosaïques incroyables. Récemment contactée pour participer à la Biennale de Venise, ses oeuvres peuvent être composées de plusieurs milliers d’oeufs, tous peints à la main.
