Table That Is A PC

The C-Walker is a radical PC + Table concept whose idea germinates from the fact that workstations with CPU, wires, screen and keyboard look cluttered and distracting. One of the ways to streamline the desk is to integrate the PC into the table itself. What we have now is a desk with wires that are internally set, a virtual keyboard and a projected screen. USB slots and CD ROM slots are flushed to the side of tabletop, along with the power button. Essentially we have a hybrid desk that part PC and part table. Yes, the functional future has arrived!

Ultimate Transparency

Don’t get me wrong, I love the Apple Keyboard, but I hate the fingerprint marks that my daily usage leaves on it. According to a research the amount of germs found on the keyboard is 60 times more than that on the toilet! To take care of these two issues we have here the UVLightBoard concept. The keyboard uses a transparency panel as the main structure.

The technology used is of microstructures on an optical light guide that gives it the perfect illumination for buttons. This means users can type comfortably in any condition. The UV light guided inside UVLightBoard will irradiate germs adhered to the panel and sterilize it by the FTIR phenomenon.

The UVLight Board is a 2014 iF Design Awards – Concept Design entry.

Hot-Key Board

For someone like me, who regularly uses half a dozen 3D and 2D software, remembering each one’s hot-key shortcuts are a nightmare. The ikeyboard might be able to bring back my kindred from the verge of hot-key induced mental breakdowns. This keyboard turns hot-keys into cool keys by displaying them right on the keyboard itself.

The E-ink displays on the keys can adapt themselves according to the software being used. The intelligent keyboard learns about the regularly used hot-keys for each software and automatically displays them while the software is on. When you open an internet browser, it switches into browser mode and displays the logos of regularly visited websites, enabling you to access them with the click of a single button. Cool!

Puzzled About Your Keyboard?

Here is a question for you; do you really need all the keys on this keyboard? This is especially true when we use software that incorporates special function keys that are far from the most commonly used ones. Hence thoughts like why can’t I shift my F1 key closer to my space key or, why can’t I arrange my keyboard to suit how I use it are very legit. The answer to these questions is the Puzzle Keyboard.

The keys of the Puzzle Keyboard can be arranged according to the user’s preference. The keyboard allows personalized key arrangements and, thus, more efficient typing. Keyboards can be angled for better ergonomics and wrist relief and efficiently customized for interaction with mobile devices.

The Puzzle Keyboard is a 2012 red dot award: design concept winner.

The Hybrid Laptop

This is the age of being multifunctional, hence a concept like the Paysage Laptop sound pretty acceptable. Here is a 14.1-inch laptop that features an inductive stand for the home. It looks super sexy in its brushed aluminum unibody design. A soft rubber hinge reinforced with a piece of metal inside gives it a maximum opening of 180°.

Use Paysage as a laptop or switch to a home PC of 21 inches. In the laptop configuration, all is powered by battery. However as a desktop computer, the screen is powered by the induction of the stand and connected via Bluetooth. It even features removable keyboard and trackpad!

Laptop Or PC, You Decide

PANDORA is a flexible laptop PC for the next generation. Through its flexible display and proper application of various technologies, this laptop PC can be applied to a number of interfaces smoothly. A shade less thicker than typical tablets, the device boasts of thin flexible battery technologies as well. A good hybrid concept for gen-next I love the new form and approach towards the design.

Measuring only 9mm thick, it can be easily gripped and is convenient to carry. Materials used include fine porous grapheme materials, high polymer and silicon on the hinge part.

Best Keyboard Ever

This E-inkey Keyboard Concept is pretty awesome if you ask me. Imagine using e-ink screens as keyboard buttons that allow us to use different layouts and customize keys as per our needs or program we are using at that moment! The use of E-ink technology gives it the power saving edge as well as the option of being wireless. Simply love it, what about you?

Let’s have a peek at the Mac Pro Concept; a device that combines restraint and confident styling. According to the designer Almasov Aibek, he is looking at changing the perception of computers, and them being heavy boxes that are heavy to carry around. Crafted from aluminum, the front has been redesigned to host USB 3.0 and Power button. Interesting, what do you say?
