What’s Next For Alexander Wang?
Posted in: Uncategorized  | You all know Alexander Wang by now, the fashion wunderkind who started his namesake line by his second year of design school in 2007. In 2008 he conquered the shoe and handbag market- how’s an 800 person waiting list for proof? In 2009, he added t-shirts with his coveted knitwear line T by Alexander Wang. What’s next– world domination? Maybe not quite, but as far as we’re concerned he’s getting pretty close. With the success of his T line, he’s adding more styles that go beyond the perfectly fitted slouchy tee and tank. He is debuting some men’s styles too– think well-worn t-shirts, casual tanks and button-downs, and some cool leather shorts. As if that isn’t enough to have our tails wagging, Spring 2010 also brings us a new line of shades in collaboration with Linda Farrow, which Wang unveiled during his Sept fashion week show.
