Coquette – The Best Wedge Boots Under $150!

imageOne of the hottest trends for fall are wedge boots which give you a beautiful lift with the comfort of a wedge heel. I just picked up a pair of Zara Wedge Ankle Laced Boots in black for only $99.90. Rachel Bilson was wearing hers all over Milan Fashion week (pictured left). Love her beigy-gray version. Only black and brown are available here in the States. Let me say that these boots really are comfortable and I love how you can wear them folded down too as the model above in Zara’s Lookbook wears them. These versatile and stylish boots can go casual or dressed up in no time. These are the boots of the season! Call your nearby Zara store to see if they have them in stock still. I called last week and had them save me the last size 8 at the Post Street boutique in San Francisco.

Daily Obsesh – Anthropologie ‘Annie’ Glasses

imageToday, it isn’t so unusual to see women stealing their clothes and style inspiration from the boys, but that hasn’t always been the case. Diane Keaton’s portrayal of Annie Hall in Woody Allen’s 1977 film inspired a generation of women to try menswear on for size, and made both Keaton and her character, Annie, style icons that are still emulated over 30 years later.

While Annie’s tie, vest and high-waisted, wide-legged trousers get most of the sartorial attention, we’ve always been a huge fan of the many great sunglasses the character wears throughout the movie. Finally, Anthropologie is showing the sunglasses some love with their “Annie Glasses”. With brass hardware, thin classic tortoiseshell or black frames and vintage styling, these glasses are as stylish and classic as their namesake.

Lingerie Dement

Magnetized lingerie makes getting undressed a snap
lingeriedement_1.jpg

Ripping off clothes in a fit of passion always sounds hot—until you find your expensive, “somebody’s-going-to-see-these” underwear torn to unsalvageable shreds. To keep the heat up without sacrificing silk and lace, former costume designer and the Parisian mastermind behind Lingerie Dement Laetitia Schlumberger created rip-off bras, panties, bustiers, and ensembles perfect for getting busy in a hurry.

lingeriedement_2.jpg

Tiny, almost invisible magnets hold the pieces in place, holding tight enough to ensure that there won’t be any accidental panty-dropping in the office. But when the moment arrives, the well-placed connectors snap apart in one swift tear.

Made of seductive fabrics in delicate, feminine designs, the pieces have all the allure of French lingerie. Bras run between €70 and 90, panties between €50 and 60, and the garments are available online at Jollia, as well as at a
handful of stores in the U.S. and France

Bag of the Week – Alexandra Cassaniti Money Bag

imageAlexandra Cassaniti’s stylish uni-sex Money Bags are re-purposed from actual official federal money bag. The worn canvas, distressed from carrying around all those Benjamins, is finished with a leather base and puffy leather backpack straps that can also be carried like a handbag. Cassiniti’s eponymous surf style line takes the position that ‘it€™s always summer somewhere’ and each season she releases a new ‘Summer’ collection.

Her accessories are known for being eye-catching and unique, and this bag takes it to another level with it€™s interesting history. However, this bag isn’t just a cool concept or green gimmick, it’s also a well designed piece that would be a great finishing touch to a wide range of outfits – from a beach cover-up to a more urban look of jeans, a blazer and heels. And, we can’t help but think the bag’s past life as a money carrier might bring some good luck to the lady carrying this cool tote because … once a money bag, always a money bag, right?!

Daily Obsesh – Pantone Mug

imagePantone is the self proclaimed world-renowned authority on color, and few would disagree. For color standards and trend forecasting, Pantone is the go-to for design and fashion professionals. Pantone realizes that their world of color is fun and beautiful and make great accessories in addition to their professional products. The Pantone cuff links, iPhone cases and eyewear are all great, but the standout product is the Pantone mug. This mug is a great way to let the world in on your fashion and trend savvy and loudly proclaim the “it” color for fall while quietly sipping on your cup of joe. Designed to look as though one of Pantone’s infamous color cards is wrapped around the mug, the color identification number and cheeky Pantone name for the color- think cupcake yellow and egg yolk- are all part of the design. We can’t think of a better gift for the fashionista who has it all!
