Triboro is a design duo working from Brooklyn doing some really fantastic work.

Their ‘Triboro Leftovers’ is an online publication that solves the formerly painful problem of creating some great work and then having to throw-out everything that the client doesn’t like. Check out their work here, and the leftovers here. Enjoy!

Need funding for your art project?

Interested in starting a wicked awesome art project but have no clue on how you’re going to pay for it?
Ulule might be your answer.

They seem to be just starting up but the concept itself seems to have lots of potential. The program allows you to start and organize a project and subsequently broadcast that project to friends and worshipers through email,Twitter, FB and myspace so that they can help you with funding. In return the artist can send them exclusive updates and items (say photographs of work in progress etc.)

This could be the tool that helps both artists and purveyors of art to really put their money where their mouth is. Plus the name is fun to say.

GGRP Sound

Ingenious: GGRP sound engineers created record players from corrugated cardboard that double as 45 sleeves. They then sent them out to creative directors in North America to showcase GGRP’s talent. All you need is a pencil to spin the record. Talk about clever.

Not sure I can get into the song itself, but the smoking sunglasses, tall-can hair rollers, and Virgin Mobile’s shameless plug make it a fashion/art/dance/music/advertising/hurricane worth checking out.
