Davey Gravy is a very talented artist from Calgary, Alberta.
In his final years at ACAD, he was introduced to cross-stitching. While he was looking for a new way of looking at things, he immediately immersed himself in the foreign practice of cross-stitching.
His background in graffiti and amazing letterform drawings quickly came through, and in turn, his rap-themed cross-stitch became something new and refreshing.
University of the Arts grad Jim Tierney designed four beautiful looking Jules Verne book covers for his senior thesis project. Check out some video of the books and his personal site here.

Some good looking illustration and design work on the pre-release of Cargo Collective. It’s striving to establish an online community to “dramatically increase the accessibility and exposure of creative individuals on the Internet, while aspiring to build a networked context that will contribute to the culture as a whole”.
