Some pretty sweet work from Cristiana Couceiro.

If you dig deeper on her site she uses a deconstructed CBC logo in one of her pieces.

Eve Duhamel

Amazing painting and illustration work from Montreal/Berlin based Eve Duhamel.

I highly recommend taking a peek at her Campsites and Matters marker illustrations. Phenomenal colour. The way you can see the layered solid colours reminds me of the colouring books I coloured in as a kid.

Some great work from a UK freelancer, just not enough of it up there. I like the frames for the blog images though (the wall clips). word

Carlo Van de Roer

I’ve come across Carlo’s work in a few different places as of late. He frames a lot of his shots below the horizon, or amidst some kind of thick fog. It gives them a really distinctive feel, like you don’t know where on earth he could have shot it. No? Something like that though. more

Big Active

Apart from a kick-ass logo, they also work with some really sick illustrators and photographers. Check out the site here.

Big Active is a creative consultancy specializing in art direction, graphic design and the select management of leading illustrators (borrowed word for word from their site info). There’s a pretty long list of illustrators worth checking out, including the particularly popular Parra, Siggi Eggertsson, and Genevieve Gauckler (to name a few).

Think Simple Act Simple

This is one in a series of fold down posters done for Play-Doh (by Think Simple Act Simple). Great concept, and a clean execution.

Play-Doh was the best. I never understood why all the toys that went with it were designed to make it look like delicious food shapes though? It tastes horrible. They should just make that stuff out of candy.
