La société Uji Films a imaginé pour Applegate cette excellente vidéo proposant de découvrir en 90 secondes plus de 20 hot-dogs représentatifs de plusieurs villes américaines. Focus sur Frank Lamp, cette très jolie lampe en bois pensée par le studio thaïlandais Pana Objects. Livrée en kit, cette création reprenant la forme d’un chien peut être modulée et positionnée de différentes façons afin de mimer le comportement d’un animal. Le coréen Seungji Mun a conçu ce sofa très original « Dog House Sofa » pour la marque M.Pup, permettant aux animaux de compagnie de posséder d’un espace réservé. Avec un design réussi, ce projet sublimé par les clichés de mise en situation est à découvrir dans la suite de l’article.
If you’ve ever tried to brush your dogs teeth then you’re familiar with the awkwardness that ensues. If they only knew you were trying to help! Here’s a clever way to trick stubborn pups into cleaning their teeth. The Q-Ring is like any other pull/chew toy but features a squishy bristled end that removes plaque, reduces gingivitis and stimulates gums. Simply twist the tactile, soft grip handle inside-out and it doubles as a frisbee!

When the local government of Hungary was looking for a motivational campaign to get dog owners to dispose off the dog poo from the streets, little did they know that the prize-winning entry Curve would garner so much support and enthusiasm. The trashcan designed by Kőrös Benedek – Ben Koros has a fun and intriguing way of dumping the waste. Read on to know more.
Ben explains, “The biggest problem with dog waste disposal cans is, that they fill up on domestic rubbish way before time – thus even responsible dog owners can’t dispose their pet’s waste. I’ve tried to design a can, which doesn’t allow bottles, bags full of trash, empty boxes etc. to be dropped inside. The user must pick up the poo, place it in a plastic bag (biologically degradable plastic bags included on the Curve), and lead it through a curvy gap on the top, to be able to dump it.”

Voici le trailer du prochain film d’animation de Tim Burton : Frankenweenie. Ce projet est une adaptation de son film de 29 minutes réalisé en 1984. En stop-motion, ce film racontera la volonté de Victor Frankenstein de ressusciter son chien Sparky. Prévu pour Octobre 2012.
