Burst Chair

alt= //ppWe’ve all had those lapses. When we lean too far one way and catastrophe occurs. The burst chair from a href=http://www.olivertilbury.com/Oliver Tibury/a helps you save face, and bum, by having so many legs you’ll always have a leg to sit on. Sort of the poor man’s insurance. Necessity is the mother of invention. Especially in these hard times. |via a href=http://szymon.tumblr.com/post/39780729/oliver-tilburyInspire/a|br //p

Twist Bench

pimg src=http://www.productdose.com/images/products/draft_5157.gif
alt= //ppfont color=#000000Formed from steam-bent, twisted ash, this bench looks like a piece of futuristic highway. Sit on this while pondering the path of your life. You might not know the destination or remember the point of origin of your journey but at least you’re still on the road and not off of it. I remind myself of this every day. Especially lately since I’ve been pondering how to make a more meaningful contribution. It’s like I keep waiting for some big surprise opportunity to come around the corner and what I should really be doing is to round that corner myself and let the surprise just run me over. That’s why I do all my best thinking while lying in the middle of the road./font/p

Amourette Lamp

Want/Need Glass

pimg src=http://www.productdose.com/images/products/draft_5148.gif
alt= //ppI’ve been doing this thing the last six months when I eat where I’ll remember to always leave something on the plate. It’s wasteful but our portions are overlarge to begin with. It’s quite effective how just thinking that I’m going to leave something on the plate encourages me to eat to fullness rather than eating to finish. This glass takes that idea to drinking one step further. It allows you to fill the glass only to the spill-hole. Working just like a sink’s overflow drain, it delineates where your want separates from your need. Of course you can indulge your excess by refilling the glass. All good plans can be thwarted. |via a href=http://www.bookofjoe.com/2009/02/wantneed-glass.htmlBook of Joe/a|br //p
