Beyonce Goes 70s for Photo Shoot

imageBeyonce is gearing up for the release of her fourth album later this year, and she was spotted at a photo shoot in New Jersey last week showing off a lot of glam 70s style clothing.


This version of her celebrity fashion style included a shaggy red jacket, a blue flare-leg jumpsuit, and platform shoes so tall she required help getting around in them!


There hasn’t been a lot of celebrity news and gossip about Beyonce’s widely-anticipated new album, which is scheduled for release in June. But last week she played a selection of tracks to record executives, who were reportedly impressed and amazed.


This will be her first new album in three years, and is timed to coincide with her gig as headliner at the Glastonbury festival in Somerset.

Celeb Poll – 46th Annual CMA Cuties!

imageThe 2011 Country Music Award were held in Las Vegas, NV this past weekend and true to Country Star form, the red carpet was a bevy of embellished gowns, flowing big hair and celebs adorned in dripping jewels. We’ve got our three favorite country gals lined up and while they all looked like a million buckaroos, we’re asking – Who do you think looked the best?


We love the intricate lace detailing on Taylor Swift’s pale yellow gown. A sweeping train and her signature long, wavy locks paired with red lips and drop earrings added to the drama.


Model Brooklyn Decker kept it simple and young in a form fitting, dusty rose sheath dress with asymmetrical neckline. Matching shoes and nails and no accessories let her new short ‘do steal the spotlight!


Country singin’ queen, Carrie Underwood looked like royalty in a deep violet, flowing gown with sparkling embellishments. Lustrous blonde waves and statement jewelry stepped up the glam factor even more.

Christophe Decarnin Leaves Balmain

imageDesigner Christophe Decarnin will be leaving the helm of Balmain, Women’s Wear Daily reports. The fashion house is expected to announce the split today and name a successor – supposedly someone internal, possibly stylist Melanie Ward, according to Cathy Horyn – imminently.


Decarnin certainly increased the label’s popularity during his five-year tenure there, but questions were asked when he missed the final bow at Balmain’s show as part of Paris Fashion Week in March.


At the time, Alain Hivelin, Balmain’s owner, explained to the Telegraph that Decarnin was “tired, after working on the collection. No, he’s NOT retired. He’s just tired. He didn’t go to bed until 5 a.m. He’s not here, he’s resting.”


Other outlets, like Hint Mag, claimed that Decarnin was in a mental hospital following a nervous breakdown three months ago – “Decarnin is said to have disappeared one day in mid-January. Soon after, according to our source, it was announced to employees that he would not be returning.” Hint also wrote that Decarnin did not work on the fall collection.

Kim Kardashian’s Little Sister Makes Splash in Modeling World

imageFast becoming a fashion star on her own, Kendall Jenner, the younger sister of Kim and the other famous Kardashian sisters, recently did a prom dress photo shoot for designer Sherri Hill.


15-year-old Kendall is a model with the Wilhelmina agency and has already done campaigns for Luca Couture, Forever 21, and Nordstrom and is seeing her star rise in the fashion industry.


In the shoot she was photographed in several great prom dresses including a crystal encrusted strapless dress, a white ballerina-inspired dress with a tutu-like skirt, and a sexy one-sleeved number. Upon seeing the shots, big sister Kim said, ‘I can€™t believe how stunning Kendall looks in her final shots for Sherri Hill prom dresses!’


While not (yet) as famous as her sisters, Kendall does have friends in Hollywood, and was recently seen on the purple carpet for the Hollywood premiere of Justin Bieber’s movie ‘Never Say Never’.

Celeb Poll – ‘Sucker Punch’ Style

imageThe previews for the new fantasy action thriller, ‘Sucker Punch’, seem full of amazing graphics and one visually stimulating scene after another and definitely very different. No matter what, though, there’s no denying that the cast is smoking hot!


Showing up for the red carpet world premier here in Hollywood, it’s been the sexiest turn out we’ve seen in a while! Which ‘Sucker Punch’ star stole the show?
