Nars Cosmetics Celebrates 15 Years With An Exclusive Celeb Photo Book!

imageFrancois Nars, creative director and founder of the iconic cosmetics company Nars, is celebrating 15 years of success with a new project that honors two of his favorite past times. As an avid photographer, Nars will release 15 portraits of specially selected celebrities wearing his products in a new, limited-edition pictorial. Each celebrity chose his or her own favorite Nars product and their photograph reflects the product’s inspiration. “15 x 15” will be sold exclusively at the project’s site for 30 days starting November 12th at 8 PM, with only 1,500 copies up for grabs. Each book costs $80, but all the proceeds will be donated to charities hand-picked by the celebrities featured. Some of the faces to look forward to include Marc Jacobs, Isabella Rossellini, Amber Valleta, Naomi Campbell, Olivier Theyskens, and Shalom Harlow. imageAs I’ve mentioned before, I love me some eyeliner. Black, preferably, but I’ve been known to dabble in other colors of the rainbow for a little unexpected “pop,” especially when a little color-coordinating glitter is in order.
