Spring Trend Alert: Watercolor Prints

A subtler alternative to bold prints, watercolor motifs are still dramatic in their own way and add an avant-garde yet feminine sensibility to any outfit. Walter, Elizabeth and James, Tracy Reese, and Black Halo are among the designers who have included graceful watercolor-inspired pieces in their spring collections. Apart from its visual merits, what’s also fab about this trend is that it comes without an expiration date. Like quality art, it can be kept and sported for years and not appear dated at all.
