Rosa Cha Debuts Their Fall/Winter 2010 Collection During Sao Paulo Fashion Week

imageRosa Cha designs are usually associated with unique swimsuits and bikinis that are fun and sexy, but what happens when it’s not summer anymore? Rosa Cha has transformed their designs seamlessly to light and breezy to more appropriate for the colder weather. This was the label’s first time showing in Brazil since new creative director and designer Alexandre Herchcovitch took over, and the new runway collection did not disappoint. Models strutted the catwalk in retro lingerie-inspired swimsuits and separates, as well as tailored skirts and blazers featuring expert draping and lace overlays. The pieces celebrated the female form, showing curves, but still staying sophisticated and original. Sexy cutouts, strategic paneling and bare midriffs in black, neutrals and multi-color patterns were given even more of an edge with exposed zippers and straps. The collection featured everything from lacy lingerie, innovative separates and colorfully modern diving suits while keeping with a common look and theme. Says Herchcovitch, “This is a fundamental moment for us to be able to use the brand’s DNA in a larger number of pieces that go from fitness, spa, and the beach, to outwear,” and the new F/W 2010 Rosa Cha collection does just that.
