New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2010: Michael Angel
Posted in: Uncategorized  | Aussie designer Michael Angel kicked off the Spring/Summer 2010 shows at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week with a parade of party dresses that provided a feast of color and exotic patterns for its audience. Known for his unique bright prints and innovative cut designs, the designer did not disappoint this season, despite the fact that his signature rainbow leggings were nowhere to be found. Accessorized with flat wrap sandals and bold stone earrings, the models romped the runway in flowing silk wrap dresses and cap-sleeved minis, clearly designed only for those aiming to show off a killer pair of long legs. One particular highlight included a patent leather jacket and silk floral miniskirt combo, reflective of the designer’s playful yet feminine take on modern womenswear.
