I am going to start this week with a studio tour showing Lisa Congdon's atelier beautifully photographed by Victoria right here…. the honest, pure and inviting feel of the post really appealed to me and made me realised that I never actually wrote about Lisa Congdon or her work before on Bloesem… I have never met this creative artist in my life, but her appearance on many other blogs, twitter and elsewhere makes me feel as if I know her 🙂 … funny right? You can find Lisa’s work here on her blog, website, and etsy shop.
The funny thing is that only later I discovered Fiep Westendorp's illustrations on the background on Lisa's inspiration board …. made me love this women even more. Fiep is one of the most influential and famous illustrators of the Netherlands … more about her here, a little write-up I did for Bloesem a couple of years back.

Hello dear readers, thank you for visiting today and sorry I wasn't here yesterday! We spend a long weekend in Singapore and I'm preparing categories for the Gift Guides for Bloesem and BKids and it takes a bit longer then I expected, but I enjoy doing them 🙂 Later today I will share with you my Kitchen Gifts and on BKids it is all about handmade gifts.
But first, let's start with some beautiful handmade lights. Hanging lamps made of felt with 100% merino wool by a new Dutch Talent: Marjolein Perin. I found them in this online shop. I love the old-granny look brought forward in a modern style. … hopefully we will see much more from her in the future.

Caroline has outdone herself with this years collection I believe. Christmas Stockings, an Advent Calendar, and a Tree Skirt in addition to dozens of new ornaments and decorations. I truly like them and would be very happy to decorate our home with. You can see and buy the collection right here…

Monday’s Quick Start: INSEKT desk
Posted in: ..QuickStarta very nice quick start if i may say so myself :)… Kellie Smits is pretty well-known in the Kids fashion industry with her label Buisjes En Beugels +++ but recently she has taken on a new passion… namely designing furniture and WOW is this first piece stunning.
