Time For Prefabricated Buildings

The Bone is a conceptual building that delves into the advantages of large detached houses, high-rise buildings, and prefabricated houses. In short, it takes in the essentials of all the three types of living quarters and brings forth the best. This prefab building hosts large outdoor spaces including gardens and swimming pools.

  • Unlike ordinary apartment buildings, each home is detached from its neighbor so the residents don’t have to endure each other’s noise or invasions of privacy. Residents can decide the layout, the number of storey, and the size of their homes.
  • The structural elements (including the mega columns) are prefabricated and most of them are made of steel.
  • The entire building can be assembled and disassembled easily without harming its environment.

Concrete Heaven by the Sea

Have you ever seen a house so awesome that it kinda makes you hate your own?! Well, this is one of those houses. This concrete gem overlooks a rocky coastline, and its cozy interior is the perfect contrast to the stark exterior and severe sea cliffs. Beware before you look at the photos inside… it’s so good it might just make you cry.

Big Dreams in a Small House

One look at the interior of this mountain lodge and you’d never know that it’s a mere 538 square feet. Using material continuations, like the raw barn-wood floor that extends upwards to the wall at random sections, the space appears larger while maintaining that warm, cozy lodge vibe. Extra tall ceilings and lots of carefully placed windows add to this openness while providing perfect views of the contrasting wild terrain.

Home Sweet Cube 2.0

We recently featured Justin Chong’s charming, super-minimal Cube home… well he’s back with an alternative version that reworks the usable space to accommodate more storage, sleeping room, a full bathroom and even a laundry area fit with a compact clothes washer/dryer combo! The other design was a lil dark so the most significant addition is built-in, ultra-thin LED lighting accents in inconspicuous places like under the stairs or kitchen shelving.
