My watch is mine, and if you try peeking into it, you probably won’t be able to read the time. However if I wear the Followatch, you will be able to see the time correctly, with the dial facing towards you! Followatch always stands upright because it rotates freely thanks to the center of gravity. Awesome idea for sharing time!

Upon seeing Lamborghini’s wild Veneno concept, experienced shoe designer Jeremiah Obuobi felt compelled to design a shoe that embodied the same design language. The result is this wicked-looking runner that, like the Lambo, is focused on optimum aerodynamics and stability to achieve a equally dynamic experience when the wearer tackles the road on foot rather than by car.

Say Aye: all those who love and get inspired by the iconic architecture in the Bay area and beyond; AYE! Taking her inspiration from shapes and engineering concepts from San Francisco’s diverse urban landscape, designer Vanessa Gade is launching a whole new jewelry collection titled LINEA. Past collections have been inspired by art deco architecture, ikebana, suspension bridges and criss-crossing power lines & I will not be surprised to find a hint of the Golden Gate Bridge, Sutro Tower and the SFMOMA, in some of these new pieces.

In her own words Vanessa states, “I am so heavily influenced by the members of the Yanko Design community (including architects and designers) that I am excited to introduce my work to them and hear their feedback. I am hoping it is something that they will resonate with.” Giving us a little detail about the materials used, Vanessa says that each piece is hand fabricated in precious metals. The holes are precisely plotted, drilled and engineered so that no matter what the design is on the inside, the piece remains perfectly balanced.

The chain glides freely and is the focus of the design itself. In this case the function becomes the form, fixed and fluid all at once. Vanessa loves to play with the variables of movement and suspension, creating a piece that is kinetic and sculptural, where the negative space becomes an integral part of the composition.

Handcrafted in San Francisco, Vanessa stands for a designer making modern jewelry rooted in traditional craftsmanship.

Heads or Tails is by far the best looking set of doggy accessories I’ve seen. A three-piece collection, consisting of a dog bed, dishes and toys. The artificial leather bed becomes a little hut when dogs burrow inside it, and a cushion when they lie on top. The ceramic dishes are reversible, with a shallow dish for food on one side and a deeper dish for water on the other, and the silicon rubber ‘bone’ can be reshaped into a ball by tucking in the two ends.

Okay, for serious. Dogs could care less what their “accessories” look like so this is obviously a play for indulgent and style-minded owners. Almost all dog accessories veer towards the cute so it’s nice to see something so outside the proverbial box. I’d buy it. I’d totally buy it whether or not my dog hates it because it looks so damn good. And that reversible bone/ball thing? BRILLS MAN! THAT’S JUST BRILLS!
