Amsterdam International Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2010: Replay
Posted in: Uncategorized  | Picture a bohemian and cosmopolitan traveler who is always on the move, loves comfort but also pays great attention to detail. For the Spring/Summer 2010 season Replay’s collection consists of jersey which is no longer just casual but also comes in an urban version which fits into everyday life, in all its various guises. In terms of denim, the new cuts and prefabricated waistbands give a tailored look to the silhouette, developed with super slim lines or generous flares for women – without forgetting the boyfriend fit of course – and slim/worker/anti-fit styles with treatments and finishes including super-bleach, rinse, destroyed, three-dimensional and coated for men. The T-shirt graphics are also part of the urban context and transmit clear, positive messages of peace and love using a graffiti/writing effect. The colour palette ranges from neutral shades to brights for the menswear, while the women’s wear focuses on shades of mandarin, peach, papaya, passion fruit and watermelon. Studs on bikinis, leather jackets, denim jackets and dresses are being used frequently, to give this collection a rough but playful feel.
