Watchmen LEGO

alt= //ppI saw Watchmen on opening night and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I read the comic years ago and only vaguely remembered what all happened. So after seeing the movie I thumbed through my old copy of the graphic novel to see what was different between graphic novel and film. Surprisingly, I thought the film was a better telling of the story. I realized in film school that it’s pointless to compare film to literature because they’re two distinct forms of telling stories, even if they’re telling the same one. But I will admit that most film adaptations just plain suck. There are a few exceptions: Godfather, A Clockwork Orange, Jaws, Demi Moore’s Scarlet Letter (!!) and now Watchmen. I can always tell I really loved a movie if I leave knowing I’m going to buy the DVD. Now if I can have these LEGO Watchmen figures made by a href=http://www.brickstud.com/Jordan Schwartz/a, my shrine will be complete. Sorry, a href=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_MooreAlan Moore/a, sometimes Hollywood gets it right. Though most of the time they royally screw it up. |via a href=http://www.gearfuse.com/watchmen-minifigs/Gearfuse/a|br //p
