Tino Sehgal At The Guggenheim

This is an overhead photo from the Guggenheim this weekend (the one I took on my phone didn’t turn out, so this is from ‘the junes’s Flickr – thanks!).

The performance involved two people continually interacting with one another in a fairly sexual, slow-motion dance. The work comes from Tino Sehgal, a London based artist known for incorporating dance and performance into his pieces. Seeing it in context was great because of the response it elicited in different people as they entered the main rotunda. You can read more on the Guggenheim website (also check out the Anish Kapoor piece).
