Sick of watching layer tennis from the sidelines? Cut&Paste’s 2009 Digital Design Tournament kicks off its 16-city world tour next month, and they’re on the hunt for competitors. North American designers have until next Friday to apply to compete in 2D, 3D, and motion design competitions that will play out in a series of fast-paced, 15-minute rounds broadcast on massive screens in competition halls from Chicago to Shanghai. Grand prize winners in each category will go on to compete in the global championships this June in New York City. Ready for your close-up?
