Gregory Buntain has just completed Sonderstuhl, a chair that takes advantage of the properties of hardwood to highlight a slim and graphic profile with a strong (but light) construction. The slatted seat and back provide contoured seating while maintaining lightness.

Built to order by Buntain in Brooklyn, the chairs are available in White Oak or Walnut, and come with an engraved brass plate under the seat, with the designer’s name, date of completion and edition number.
