Last night, when cruising around the internet, I found myself watching a video produced by This happened…, a company that organizes speaking events based on the stories behind interactive design.

Launched in 2007 by a trio of artists and designers working in London, This happened seeks to create a more open exchange of ideas and methods in a field too frequently beset with creative protectionism.

With over thirty talks archived online, from Crispin Jones illuminating the development of Tengu, his sound reactive USB character, to Irene van Peer’s explanation of her Mahlangu Handwasher, This happened has inspirational content for anyone working in the varying fields of design.
