In it, Douglas Paulson, who is a teaching artist at the Center for Urban Pedagogy, works alongside students in an afterschool program in East Flatbush to investigate the “hidden uses, ownership patterns, and alternate futures” in the lots right near their school. /p

pThe film will be presented by the Center for Urban Pedagogy at the Anthology Film Archives at 7:30 on June 1st. The screening will be followed by a panel discussions with empty lot experts moderated by the documentary crew./p
