Gotta Getaway To Louisville At The 21c Museum Hotel
Posted in: UncategorizedLocated in the heart of downtown Louisville, Kentucky is a renovated 19-century tobacco and bourbon warehouse transformed into a thoroughly modern boutique hotel and museum. The 91 room 21c Museum Hotel features large rooms with Malin + Goetz toiletries, preprogrammed iPods and speaker docks, poster art you can take home, and most importantly, free wifi. Dine at Proof on Main for an Italian and American South inspired cuisine and try some (not all!) of the 50 Kentucky bourbons available at the bar. You can also relax in the in-house spa with a sauna, steam room, and gym. Why is it called 21c, you ask? Well, it’s North America’s first museum solely dedicated collecting and exhibiting 21st century art. The museum is free to the public so you can wander in and look at the 4 foot red penguins, video installations, sculptures, and more. Take a look at my slideshow to see more of 21c! |

The Selby
Posted in: UncategorizedThe Selby gets his share of coverage in the blog world, but this is no surprise. Todd Selby’s a prolific photographer who documents interior spaces like The Sartorialist documents street style.
I purchased his new book, The Selby is in your place. His photographs of the unstyled and intimate details of the interior home spaces of eclectic people along with his naive watercolour portraits and doodle commentary is a combination full of personality and voyeuristic appeal.
