Arbor Roundhouse Snowboard

pimg src=http://www.productdose.com/images/products/draft_5386.jpg
alt= //ppUnfortunately for me, I live so far away from good ski locales and snowboarding trips are a once-a-year thing for me (if I’m even THAT lucky). If I lived any closer, I would definitely invest in a Roundhouse Snowboard from Arbor. The design is amazing and the board is truly a work of art.nbsp;/p

Iceblok

pimg src=http://www.productdose.com/images/products/draft_5383.gif
alt= //ppThis summer there will be no more spilled drink and icecubes colliding with my front teeth. These, and a good tan, are my summertime ambitions. |via a href=http://www.bookofjoe.com/2009/04/iceblok-keep-beverage-ice-where-it-belongs.htmlBook of Joe/a|br //p

Fire Cube

pimg src=http://www.productdose.com/images/products/draft_5380.gif
alt= //ppOld Man Winter is shuffling off to hibernate but there are still a few days left where we can use a scarf and some close proximity to flame. This fire cube from John Beck might not be enough to warm your hands over but it will provide some flattering mood lighting for your back patio evenings. Holds four cans of eco-friendly fire gel that burns 2-3 hours each. Maybe if you put your face right in the flames it might get your nose a little toasty./p

Peekaru

The American Dream Revised

pimg src=http://www.productdose.com/images/products/draft_5373.gif
alt= //pppThis is sort of galvanizing. I’ve resigned myself to never being able to afford homeownership. Turns out I might not be missing all that much. The mainstay of the American Dream is home ownership but according to a a href=http://real.wharton.upenn.edu/~wongg/research-happiness.htmlWharton researcher/a, it may not be necessary to happiness. And in fact it may be a contributor to weight-gain and decreases in those things we associate with life satisfaction. /ppFrom the paper: emhomeowners derive more pain (but no more joy) from both their home and their neighborhood./em /ppMaybe I’ll spend that $100 I saved up towards a future empied a terre/em on a new Wii instead./pp|via a href=http://www.portfolio.com/views/blogs/market-movers/2008/12/11/homeownership-makes-you-fat-and-unhappyPortfolio/a|br //p/p

Enter Key Doormat

pimg src=http://www.productdose.com/images/products/draft_5368.gif
alt= //ppMade from recycled tires, this doormat is symbolic of the inescapable draw of computer life. br /br /a href=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean_BaudrillardJean Baudrillard/a: quot; The simulacrum is never that which conceals the truth–it is the truth which conceals that there is none. The simulacrum is true.quot;br / br /I don’t know what that means either. But it sounds like he might be onto something./p

Michael Jackson Auction

pimg src=http://www.productdose.com/images/products/draft_5369.gif
alt= //ppI was all ready to make some big item purchases next week at a href=http://www.juliensauctions.com/auctions/2009/michael-jackson/catalog-list.htmlthe Neverland auction/a of some of Michael Jackson’s belongings, recession be damned. Then I find out it’s a href=http://www.stuff.co.nz/entertainment/2335883/Michael-Jackson-auction-cancelled/been canceled/a due to a suit from MJ’s production company. Drats! I can still dream about owning some of that sweet stuff though. Like the MJ throne. Or the picture of MJ being crowned. Or being knighted. Or his transposed likeness in replicas of famous paintings./p

Rocker Switch Fridge Magnets

pimg src=http://www.productdose.com/images/products/draft_5365.gif
alt= //ppThe greatest invention after the discovery of electricity was the light switch. None of that pulling a string or pulling a lever. Just a slight flick of the finger and you bring light into the world like some grand deity. That technological achievement has finally made its way to fridge magnets. A simple flip of the magnet and you’ve got a secure document. Nothing like a sense of security for your little three-year old’s crayon masterpiece. Those anatomically incorrect human figures are prodigies of a future Picasso.br //p

Killing a Zombie

pimg src=http://www.productdose.com/images/products/draft_5361.gif
alt= //pppI’m fascinated by all things zombie. I think of all monster attacks I’d most prefer dealing with the walking dead since they have no real maliciousness and are only trying to sate their hunger for human flesh. My cousin who is a lawyer found an online resource for legal advice and sent me this link to a great post about the a href=http://www.avvo.com/legal-answers/is-it-legal-to-kill-zombies–and-other-related-que-10088.htmllegalities of stopping zombies/a. It’s quite funny and informative, in case you ever are in a situation where you, the law, and a mob of shuffling dead should ever intersect./pp1. The consensus seems to be that you’re probably ok killing a zombie because you can’t kill what’s dead./pp2. If your friend is bitten by a zombie and is turning, wait until he/she is fully zombiefied before exterminating./pp3. You may run into legal trouble if there is still a court of law since desecrating the dead is illegal in most states./pp4. Also, if the zombie has living relatives you may also be liable for inflicting emotional distress to the decedent’s relatives. /pp5. More legal issues may arise for the discharge of a firearm within city limits. So if you’re in the country this is probably a non-issue. Or use a chainsaw.br //pp6. a href=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rob_ZombieRob Zombie/a and any of his so-named kin are not zombies in the technical undead definition. Kill at your legal peril.br //p/p

Iron Baby
