Un superbe travail de reconstruction d’images par l’artiste danois Peter Funch vivant à New-York. En effet, il a rassemblé plus de 20 clichés pris à différents moments de la journée afin de montrer que chacun de nous fait la même chose au même moment dans la rue.
Quelques exemples de visuels pour la nouvelle collection Adidas Originals – Women 2009. Une conception de l’agence Sid Lee, par le créatif et directeur artistique Rodrigo Braga. A noter le visuel réunissant tout les modèles et formant le logo de la marque.
Des travaux très soignés par le photographe Sam Basset en provenance du New Jersey. Une belle galerie de photos mêlant à la fois des gens étranges et des personnalités, toujours dans des situations très insolites. Plus d’images dans la suite.
Elizabeth Soule uploaded these to her Flickr stream last night and they immediately caught my eye! I asked her what inspired these images:
“I found these letters at a shop, there was a whole set of them that I originally bought to spell out generic words that you would see on card, like “thank you”, “happy birthday”. While photographing I was really uninspired by “happy birthday” and began to play around and think of adjectives that or phrases that I like to use or hear often. I chose a solid colored background to let the letters pop and to also enhance the mood that each word made me feel. The cameras are the beginning of an idea “if these objects could talk” that I’m exploring.”

World Press Photo of the Year 2008: Anthony Suau, USA, for Time. US Economy in Crisis: Following eviction, Detective Robert Kole must ensure residents have moved out of their home, Cleveland, Ohio, 26 March
US photographer Anthony Suau has won Photo of the Year at the 52nd World Press Photo contest. Suau’s winning photograph shows an armed officer of the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department moving through a home in Cleveland, Ohio, following an eviction as a result of mortgage foreclosure. As jury chair MaryAnne Golon points out, the image is “a double entendre. It looks like a classic conflict photograph, but it is simply the eviction of people from a house…. Now war in its classic sense is coming into people’s houses because they can’t pay their mortgages.”

The awards ceremony in May preceded by a three-day program of lectures, discussions and screenings of photography. The exhibition of prizewinners will be shown at the Oude Kerk in Amsterdam from 4 May to 28 June and will subsequently visit over 100 locations around the world.
