Suitcase: Fjords of Norway

A magical tour of the fjords near Bergen and Flam, Noway.

Suitcase: Bergen

We arrived in Bergen in the very early morning. After finding a hotel, we went on a ferry tour of the coast. (Following a night on the train and then some choppy water, I had a small bit of seasickness; for the rest of the day, it felt like the earth was rolling.)

Bergen is absolutely beautiful and we’re glad that we had two nights here.

Suitcase: Oslo and night train to Bergen

We had a sleeper car for the overnight journey through the winding fjords from Oslo to Bergen.

Suitcase: Oslo

More colour from Oslo.

Suitcase: Studio Violet

I loved snooping at the treasures to be found in Studio Violet, the space that Camilla shares with Elisabeth Dunker. I shot some (lots!) of video of Camilla and Elisabeth preparing for their upcoming show at Manos with Karin Eriksson. I look forward to meeting up with them again in Stockholm at the end of the month.

Suitcase: Gothenburg colour

Alas, our time in Gothenburg and visit with Camilla has already passed—Glen and I are sitting in the railway station in Oslo, awaiting a night train to Bergen, Norway. There are hundreds of photos and videos to edit and upload, but time with computers is short these days! {here are some highlights, including meeting Sandra and Johan}

Camilla and her husband Ingvar were lovely and generous hosts; we only wish we had more time to stay!

Suitcase: Gothenburg

Hej from Gothenburg… It is wonderful. Morran is curled in my lap!

…and he can draw, too!

Here is Glen‘s submission to our current exhibition, Treehouse.

Typewriter Television

You can probably guess that I’m a fan of the television series Mad Men, but Glen and I are also hooked on Fringe! (This paranormal appreciation must go back to my post-college years when friends would gather every Friday night to watch the X-files! We even composed a song, called “Foxy Mulder”.) It has been a while since the previous episode of Fringe and the plot hangs on a typewritten manuscript. It is not often that a typewriter is integral to a tv story line. There’s a new show tonight!

Let me tell you the Story of Walter and Wynona

tumors

Now I bet you asking who are Walter and Wynona  and what does this have to do with the picture above. Well Walter and Wynona are the names of  the 2 tumors that were removed from my head.  Long story short I had a bump on my head got it checked out. The bump turned out to be 2 tumors, and now i have to wait 3 days before i find out its cancer. It can be 2 types of cancer one would be skin and the other would be brain. Now don’t be sad or worried cause i don’t know  for sure if i have cancer and if its brain caner im not that smart  so it cant eat away at my brain and 2 im kinda of a big guy so i have a lot of skin to spare.  All i can really say is get checked its nothing to fuck around with.
