Les équipes du studio londonien Platform 5 Architects ont pensé ce pavillon de jardin très réussi appelé « Shoffice ». Situé au nord-ouest de Londres, ce mélange entre une cabane et un véritable bureau semble être sorti du sol et se marie parfaitement avec le lieu. A découvrir en images dans la suite.
OMG, I love this Integrated Workstation not because it is a sleek and well-organized desk, but because it integrates a very thoughtful daybed datum into the workstation typology. The desk is more than just a space to work, it provides place to charge tablets, laptops, and cell phones. It even encourages a range of postures throughout the day. The best part is that the design doesn’t take up much space. Ah, my next power nap has to be on this!
The Integrated Workstation was designed for Herman Miller and resulted from a partnership between Cranbrook Academy of Art and Herman Miller.

What we’re looking at right here is a device that essentially amounts to a countdown sound-blaster with a user-interface that’s just about as easy to use as humanly possible. That’s what it’s all about, and it’s the details that make it just fantastic enough to be the most awesome little twist-and-snooze gadget on the block.
What you’ve got here is the “Timer Switch” – simply titled – designed by Myeong Ho Kang, made to be both lovely in its simple aesthetic state and simple to use. You twist the rim and watch the numbers appear along the area between the edge and the center button. When you see the amount of time you desire, you press the button.
Once the timer goes off, a sound and a light goes on, and you’ve only to tap the button back to its off-state to reset.

The design team at “Generally and Especially” have for you a conglomeration of tools contained in a simple tube made of high-quality materials. Not just physical writing comes to you in this high-tech-minded futuristic present of ours, but a solar-powered light, too!
The letters ODO stand for Outdoor Office, the designers intent being this designs ability to “provide unlimited workforce in anywhere and anytime, so we can brainstorm, rejuvenate and share our ideas more effectively and efficiently.” Sounds fun!

It’s time for another new angle on the USB power-packing accessory universe, this time with one that stays in the wall socket and conserves energy. You plug this little nubbin in to the power socket, wait for it to pop up like a turkey, and grab some power. This accessory stops taking power from the socket once it’s charged up, allowing that power then to filter through its two USB ports to your smart devices.
Other than the power collecting abilities, this device isn’t all that unique. With the pop-out action, this device becomes indispensable. I’d certainly like to have a handful of these for heading out to a tech convention or even sitting around the apartment – wouldn’t you?

L’équipe design de Synthesis DNA a récemment installé cet espace de travail « Chelsea Workspace » pour un de leurs clients désirant vouloir continuer à travailler chez lui dans les meilleurs conditions. Le rendu de ce bureau est tout simplement incroyable, proposant un espace à la fois confortable et optimisé pour le travail.
The design you’re about to look at goes by none other than the name “BOB”, and has one intention: to make you forget about how lovely it is with its simple “it just works” design sensibilities. This device works with LED bulbs, connects with one small black cord, and is made almost entirely of hand-made elements.
The Wood you see throughout the design is uniform and made of essentially the same wood material and grain while the whole design is made to be adjusted simply. Absent here are the ability to make radical adjustments and real lighting changes other than off and on. In this way, this lamp is both traditional and modern – the look is what catches one’s attention.

Unlace is a colorful, rubbery, twistable tie for untangling knotty problems with cords or cables. Each malleable piece can also be twisted for a variety of other uses like creating a custom iPhone stand or binding desktop objects together.
