Spark, a design association that began in NYC last year has recently launched a chapter in San Francisco.
The association is a membership group that is comprised of independent designers who meet each month to enlighten each other on the business and creative issues that are relevant to small design studios.

Queens-based graphic design agency, MSLK is creating an installation that uses 1,500 water bottles, the number of bottles consumed every 1 second — yikes! The eco-art piece inspires the public to switch from bottled to tap.
The installation can be viewed at the Figment Art Festival, from June 12-14 on Governor’s Island in NYC.
