I know it is going to be a good week here on BloesemLiving when I receive an email in my inbox on Sunday like this from Darling Clementine. My absolute favorite Scandinavian paper design studio.

Of course I am honored Darling Clementine has given Bloesem the scoop for their new collection called: ‘Harvest!

The new series is by far their most extensive so far and consist of cards, posters, gift wrap, a 2013 calendar, tea towels, porcelain cups and a brand new line of their very own fine teas!

All make perfect gifts for the Holiday Season. I have my eyes set on the calendar and the tea towels, what about you?             [MORE IMAGES]

Monday’s quick start: embroidered potholders

KarenBarbe-NewPotholders5

While I am preparing a new post about my trip to NY last week I thought you probably be happy with seeing these beautiful embroidered potholders by Karen BarbĂ©… I have been away from my desktop for almost 8 weeks and it is good to be back and find my 'top sites' in safari … Karen's blog definitely is one of them.
Potholder

The potholders are hand-embroidered with wool and backed with organic cotton. and I agree with Karen … your kitchen would be so happy with one of these!

Spring in the Kitchen

B1

We've been having such gorgeous weather these past couple of weeks, that it has gotten me in the spring mood. My kitchen needs a major redo, but I can't afford that right now – so instead I like to daydream about what I'd love to put in it. Currently, anything spring like. Wind and Willow Home just opened a shop on etsy called Dipped, and it is love for me. All those gorgeous colors.

B2

I love items being dipped, I am tempted to start dipping items in my own home to see how they would turn out. Such a simple and lovely idea.

B3

Something more on the softer side of spring coloring, but just as inviting – the Pools Collection by Zoe Garred from Fleet. Each item is handmade in a stoneware ceramic.

B1

I like these salt and pepper bowls by Paulova Ceramics. I think they would be a great housewarming gift, because they don't feel too style specific – just cute and fun.

B6

Heath Ceramics even has a dinnerware set called spring, and I do love how light and neutral it is. I feel calm when I look at this set, and imagine it would be lovely sitting on some open kitchen shelving. – Tiffany King

I saw these awesome bread spoons by Niels Datema, a student at Design Academy Eindhoven over at Handmade Charlotte, and had to share them with our Bloesem readers.

B2

I love making bread, and the idea of having a spoon in the right amount for each separate ingredient, is a pretty fantastic idea.

B3

How sweet are these hand sculpted bracelets and endangered birds.

B4

This lovely onions and leaves tea towel from Leah Duncan has the perfect spring color palette.

Perhaps my favorite category… the Kitchen … not that I am a good cook or that I spend a lot of time in the kitchen, I do not 🙂 … but I do like all the kitchen accessories out there and these are my favorites for this year. Hope you will find a nice present too…

I Love these tiles from Made a Mano

Madeamano

Mano_2

While visiting Norwegian blog, design-shimmer my eye immediately fell on these pictures showcasing the amazing ceramic tiles from the company Made a Mano, which was founded in 2001 by Rosario Parrinello, NanaKi Bonfils and Josephine Aquama Hoffmeyer. Their ambition was: "to create a collection of tiles, counter-tops and sinks, combining ancient traditional handicraft with modern techniques. Revealing a sure sense of beauty and style."…well they succeeded don't you think?

Mano

I absolutely love seeing them on the floor and on the walls and totally makes me re-consider using 'tiles' as decoration for flooring and kitchen walls…. it beautifully brings back the old-style kitchens and gives character to any house….love love for Made a Mano
