..Blogging Your Way

Why am I showing you images from this beautiful hotel in Stockholm … well I was planning on going to stay there for a couple of nights in the beginning of February … to be part of a wonderful bloggers event called Meet The Blogger. 

I was even invited to be a guest speaker … thrilled excited and very enthusiastic to go … but some very unforeseen incidents have happened to me during the last three months which have made me decide to postpone this trip to either next year or to a new Meet The Blogger event hopefully somewhere in Asia. 

Founder and wonderful lady Liselore Stuut and I have discussed my decision and she was so very kind to really understand my reasons … 

I am truly sorry and would like to apologise to all of you who where hoping to see me … 

But I am absolutely sure, you who already bought tickets will have a marvellous time. The speakers line-up is fantastic … 

Will Taylor will share his experiences with you on how Bright Bazaar became a successful blog brand. The lovely sisters Thea and Toni Neubauer from SisterMag will talk about the creative process behind their online mag. And that is not all Jeanette Lunde from the beautiful By Fryd and the Heart Home Magazine team will be guest speakers  too. Kirsten Jassies from Sanoma Media will share her view on how important visual content online is.

I'm sure spending a couple of days with all these talented people will give you a boost of energy, a lot of information, new ideas and perhaps most important new friends … real faces behind the twitter, facebook and blog accounts!

Meet the Blogger is a great initiative by Liselore Stuut. Her idea to create an European platform for international event for home-, design- and lifestyle bloggers already proved to be succesful after the first Meet the Blogger in 2011 that took place in Amsterdam. More than 120 international bloggers had a great time in the heart of Amsterdam. Stockholm will be next and in the summer of 2013 you can go to London and be part of the third Meet the Blogger. Liselore and I are talking about a possible Meet the Blogger Singapore .. so stay tuned. 

Meeting, networking, inspiring, and learning are the key ingredients. 

For now I wish all of you who are going (not sure if tickets are still available?) to Stockholm a wonderful time and please know that I wish things would have been different and Stockholm be closer to Kuala Lumpur 🙂

Check your calendars everybody because today is one special day! 12.12.12. is the last repetitive date we weill ever see … never in our life time we will experience a date like this, how special is that! I wonder how many weddings are being held and how many babies are being born to this birthday. 12.12.12 is definitely a once in a lifetime experience. What's happening around the world today? Madison Square Garden is having a Hurricane Sandy Relief Concert.
