Water-saving Body Wash

The Multifunctional Bathtub has an exclusive tilt function that allows you to save water when you take a soak. Depending upon how you tilt and use the tub, you could end up saving 80% of water for foot bath, 60% of water for half-body and 40% for full-body bath. Sounds like an interesting and fun idea and I really hope it works! Roca, are you listening?

Singular Cleaning

The Wall is a wall mounted washing machine design for single folks. This compact washing machine is wall mounted and suitable for a small load of clothes. It looks cute and adds spunk to washing clothes, which usually a very boring job!

Bathroom Water Sculptures

The Palomba Collection is a synthesis of organic and natural forms inspired by coastal inlets and cliffs where one can observe the waters effect on the rock formations. The collection translates this into a bathtub, 8 available washbasins, and other accessories that all appear perfectly sculpted and polished by water. In pure, bright white, fine fire-clay, the series (together or separate) is sure to be enduring.

Future Glowing Sinks

Designer Masahiro Minami’s “Renca” and “Suirin” washbowls for the SOUHOUGAMA line are the first of their kind, composed of translucent ceramic made from special Japanese clay. The artistic patterns of each are highlighted by internal LED light that passes through the milky material, creating a warm diffused glow and surprising contrast to the water feature.

Mirror Mirror, I’m Invisible!

One of the best things about the Ray Mirror is its invisible sliding mechanism. The fact that two small compartments for your most important cosmetics and toiletries are hiding behind the façade is astonishing. Thanks to its slim appearance it is also suitable for small bathrooms. I think they mean my bathroom!

Shower Anywhere from the Comfort of Home!

There’s nothing quite like an outdoor shower, but it’s mostly reserved for those with the space and privacy. As much as our neighbors might appreciate a show, for those of us who live in urban spaces, it’s something we can only dream of! Well here’s the next best thing – the Spaces OLED shower brings the outside in with a 180-degree, wrap-around screen that will fulfill the user’s fantasy, putting them in any setting they choose… jungle, beach, waterfall, you get the idea!

Dyson Airblade Tap: The innovative Brits build off the Airblade to bring together hand washing and drying

Dyson Airblade Tap

Whether we’re drying our hands with the Airblade hand dryer, warming up next to the Hot air multiplier or tidying the office with the Root 6 vacuum, we’re never far from a Dyson product here at CH HQ or at at home. As longtime supporters of British company’s innovative…

Bathtub Convenience

The Elevated Bathtub is a very thoughtful bathing experience for those who suffer from limited mobility. I have a parent who has both their knees replaced and suffers from sever arthritis, so getting in or out of a bathtub is kinda risky. This unique bathtub allows the user to step into the bath area on a flat base without any hindrance. Split into two main parts, the tub enclosure can be lifted; and the flat base with a showerhead pillar doubles up as a lifting rail for the tub enclosure.

Elevated Bathtub is a 2012 red dot award: design concept winner.

Unmonitored Bathtub

The Water Lock is an automatic water meter and a locking device for use on bathtub taps. What you need to do is simply set the desired volume of water for the bath and let the bathtub fill up unmonitored. You generally know how much water you would like to fill in for your bath, so after the set amount has been filled, the flow automatically stops. So you end up avoiding overspill, wastages and have the freedom to do other stuff while you run up your bath water.

Water Lock simultaneously records and displays the water volume. When the water is flowing, it is ‘on’. When the flow is terminated, Water Lock is ‘off’. It uses the principle of a combination padlock for its operation and doesn’t require electricity.

Water Lock is a 2012 red dot award: design concept winner.

Pretty Public Potty

As useful as porta-potties might be for concerts, festivals and other events, they have become a symbol of… well… just plain nastiness! We’re long overdue for a new standard of portable restroom and the FACETOCH is a step in the right direction. The mobile unit includes both men’s and women’s facilities and utilizes solar energy and water recovery to operate while also focusing on privacy and hygiene. If nothing else, the aesthetic is just a helluva lot more inviting!
