Behind the Scenes: The Latest Wind Mobile Shoot

After a marathon photo shoot that ran for four days and featured 30 cast members, AmoebaCorp has finally completed the very latest brand photography for Wind mobile.

Collaborating with fashion/celebrity photographer Richard Sibald and producer Courtney Boyd, 20 different scenarios were shot, each reflecting Wind’s underlying concept of ‘the power of conversation’. It’ll be revealed in the next month or so, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled.

4. Scheduled to speak at RGD’s Lateral Thinkers event on April 9th.
5. Will be judging this year’s Cannes Young Lions competition.
6. Earlier this month he spoke at OCAD to design graduates about strategies for entering the workforce.

Notebook Contest

We’re giving away notebooks for link submissions pointing to examples of great environmental product design.

To enter just post a comment below (in the main comment field, not where it says ‘website’), making sure that you include the link and a short description. The top three will be selected by DP and each submitter will be sent a book. The contest closes on October 23rd.

More about the book: The pages are made with re-purposed billboard material and the cover is 100% post consumer. AmoebaCorp only produced a limited edition of 250 pieces.

Turn your volume up and check it out.

We have been working for months on this site and it’s finally here. We’re proud to say that not only did we do all the artwork including character development and interface design, we also wrote and performed all the vocal acting (including fart noises), that you’ll find on the site.

Big thanks to our partners: web developers One Method, sound gurus TA2 and animator Julian Brown who helped immensely in bringing the site to life. Cheers!

The name “pineapple” does no justice to and besmirches the reputation of this fine tropical fruit. Let your voice be heard here.

One Night Only

When Brian “Balls” Orlowski first applied for a position at AmoebaCorp., his CV listed “Turns stuff awesomer” under Other Skills.

It’s true. It was right after “Superior tag skills”. On Thursday August 12th Brian (pictured above catching flies) will be bringing at least one of those skills to 401 Richmond to participate in RGD Ontario’s Portfolio Review Night. So if you’re looking for some advice on how to make your portfolio more awesomer, or just in need of a little good-natured light cardio, drop a line to info@rgdontario.com.

It’s been a few years now since john st. and AmoebaCorp. joined forces to fight evil wherever it exists and the results can summed up in a single phrase:

“You’ve got your chocolate in my peanut butter.”
