Studio 360 Launches Contest to Re-Brand Valentines Day

Our pals over at Studio 360 recently gave gay pride branding a dust-off and a new look, with the help of Isaac Mizrahi, and now they’re trying to reboot another bit of familiar iconography: Valentine’s Day. “The Hearts. The Chocolates. The Roses. The everything Red. It’s all so predictable. And nauseating.” they say, and as follows, have launched a contest looking for how their listeners think the holiday should be perceived in the future. And to make the whole thing rosy red, they talked with former UnBeige editor Alissa Walker (for whom we sill pine) about the look and feel of “a holiday that leaves out a gigantic part of our population” and why this contest is so badly needed:
